Tania Zepeda Luna is a Renewable Energy Specialist with a diverse background spanning government, corporate, and consulting sectors, including involvement in intricate projects within the Oil & Gas industry. Her purpose is to advocate for the implementation of sustainable energy solutions and the advancement of Geothermal Energy.
Recently, she completed her MSc in Energy, postgraduate studies, focusing on "Evaluation of Non-Commercial Oil Wells in the UAE for Geothermal Energy Generation". This academic achievement highlights her dedication to exploring forward-thinking solutions at the intersection of energy transition and geoscientist expertise.
Her expertise includes developing clean energy technology roadmaps, evaluating geothermal energy, analyzing carbon capture and storage, as well as assessing hybrid technology systems and carbon footprints for housing and industrial-scale projects. These accomplishments harmonize with her vision for transforming the Energy System and contributing to the pursuit of Net Zero emissions in the upcoming decades.
In addition to her technical expertise, she leads the Women in Renewable Energy Chapter in the UAE. The chapter focuses on supporting women's career advancement in the energy sector, providing a technical and networking platform.
