The WiRE Committees are made up of highly motivated, educated, and passionate WiRE volunteers. With the support of each committee, Chapter Leaders are able to execute various WiRE programming. These women are highly focused on growing the recognition of women in the energy industry and in their communities, ensuring equal access to clean energy solutions around the world.

WiRE Advisory Committee
The WiRE Advisory Committee consists of volunteers who have shown their dedication to WiRE’s mission with persistence and resilience, and have given many hours of their time to support WiRE’s goals, often going above and beyond what is asked of them.
WiRE Academic Committee
The WiRE Academic Committee manages the events and relations with WiRE’s various student chapters, and their integration into WiRE’s mission of recognition, education, and empowerment for under-represented people in the energy industry.
WiRE Communications Committee
WiRE Communications Committee has a wide range of responsibilities including managing WiRE’s many social media profiles, promoting and supporting various events both online and in-person, managing WiRE’s monthly newsletter, and thinking of new ways to engage with the renewable energy community.
WiRE Data & Special Projects Committee
WiRE’s Data & Special Projects Committee has an affinity for data and a love for renewable energy. Managing survey data, network parsing, and focus on understanding the collective experience of DEI in the energy sector.
WiRE International Committee
WiRE International Committee manages WiRE’s ever growing community around the world. Creating initiatives, new chapters, and supporting chapter events is just a few of their many responsibilities
WiRE Honorary Committee
WiRE’s Honorary Committee is comprised of extraordinary subject matter experts, who lend their extremely valuable time and expertise in the form of consultation and presentation on various subjects and WiRE initiatives.
