Energize Equity: The Pursuit of Joyful Workplaces

The Energize Equity Campaign by Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) has yielded crucial insights, and we are thrilled to share the results. This initiative illuminates both the unique barriers faced by women and underrepresented groups in the climate sector and their extraordinary determination.

More than just highlighting challenges, our survey empowered participants to voice their solutions and strategies for overcoming these hurdles. The report, authored by Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) volunteers Aisha Bukhari, Emily Droppo, and Jenny Yue, showcases these diverse approaches, from transformative policy and organizational changes to vital community networks and personal resilience techniques.

We've distilled these participant-driven solutions into a practical guide to help industry leaders, policymakers, and all stakeholders make informed decisions for a more inclusive and equitable climate future. WiRE is committed to sharing this knowledge to spark real change, creating a renewable energy industry where everyone, of every gender and background, has the opportunity to flourish.

Join us in exploring these findings. We believe that by understanding these experiences and embracing these actionable solutions, we can collectively create a profoundly more equitable, diverse, and inclusive climate sector.
