Energize Equity
WiRE’s Energize Equity Campaign aims to shed light on the barriers faced by individuals, specifically women and underrepresented individuals, working in the climate sector. As part of this campaign, WiRE will:
Gather information via the Energize Equity Survey
Share stories of struggle and triumph via its social media platforms (anonymous)
Compile and share analytics from the data collected (in aggregate)
WiRE respects your privacy and understands that sharing personal experiences can be difficult. WiRE will not request any personal identifying details such as name and contact information. All information gathered via this survey will be used for the purpose of this campaign as outlined above and not shared with any third party. The information will be collected and used for purposes consistent with the Ontario Human Rights Code. WiRE is committed to protecting your privacy and will safeguard all personal information that you share with WiRE in a way that is consistent with Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. We appreciate your vulnerability and willingness to participate in this initiative.
WiRE also understands that recounting and sharing personal experiences can be triggering. Your well being is our top priority. If at any point during the survey, you feel uncomfortable, we suggest taking a break or stopping the survey altogether, as you best see fit.
The time to complete this survey varies depending on the level of details you share. On average, you can expect to spend between 15 - 20 minutes to complete the survey.
