Aynur is an Electrical Engineer with 10 years of experience in power and automation fields in the Oil&Gas industry. She is currently working in SAIPEM Contracting Netherlands Azerbaijan branch as an Asset Department Electrical Coordinator. Aynur is the single point of contact for the organization’s electrical disciplines, and she is responsible for the safe and timely execution of projects. Those projects consist of subsea structures and umbilical installation, pipelay, and platform jacket transportation activities via ships, all based in Azerbaijan. She is a PhD candidate on Renewable Energy Sources Optimization and Microgrid Technologies in Azerbaijan Scientific-Research and Design-Prospecting Power Engineering Institute. Combining this knowledge with her career background, she is now conducting research towards Oil & Gas Industry decarbonization. Aynur acquired her bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil & Industry University. She is also an author of several scientific articles on international journals (IJTPE, WCE), and has attended conferences in the UK, Turkey, Portugal. Not only now a Chapter Leader for Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE), she is also a member of IEEE, IAENG, EI, and EuroScience. Aynur continues to increase and build her engineering qualification through Energy Institute, in the United Kingdom. She continues to actively volunteer in professional organizations and mentor young women in STEM fields.
