Eyum (she/her) is a First-year Master of Resource and Environmental Management student at Dalhousie University. Growing up, she saw firsthand how natural resource mismanagement negatively impacted the environment. This made her passionate about environmental sustainability. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry and a love for environmental chemistry. After her undergraduate program, she worked with an Environmental Consulting Firm and gained knowledge of environmental impact assessment & management plans, compliance monitoring, and site assessment. She learned the foundations of impact assessment, performance standards on environmental and social sustainability, integrated management system, and also practical skills to empower and help her grow her skills within the industry.
Eyum is looking to gain more insight into environmental issues and provide scientifically sound management services and solutions.
