A passionate advocate for sustainable energy, Kate Power is an accomplished professional with diverse experiences in climate finance, policy, and research. As a Young Associate at the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities, Kate focused on climate finance, conducting research and contributing to the OECD Subnational Government Climate Finance Hub.
With a Master's degree in Energy Systems and Data Analytics from University College London and an Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, Kate possesses a strong foundation in economics, global health, and energy. Her passion for renewable energy was sparked by her brother, who established a solar energy company in the Yukon.
Dedicated to promoting sustainable solutions, Kate is an active member of Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) UK, serving as Chapter Co-Lead. With a proven track record of success and a commitment to advancing the energy transition, Kate continues to make significant contributions to the industry.
