Adjunct Faculty of Master of Counselling and Med in School Counselling
As an Adjunct Faculty in both the Master of Counselling and the MEd in School Counselling, I teach a variety of courses in the full-time, part-time and mixed-mode programs. I have been teaching at CityU since 2018. I currently have my own private practice working with individuals, families, couples and supporting parents who are transitioning through separation and divorce. I am also a Collaborative professional with Collaborative Divorce Vancouver in the roles of Divorce/Co-Parenting Coach and Child Specialist, and am a member of IACP (International Academy of Collaborative Professionals). I work within the Family Justice system as a Parenting Coordinator, providing support and arbitration for families. I am also a member of BC Hear the Child, providing reports for the purposes of bringing children’s voices into the Family court system. I have a background in working with at-risk children and youth, family violence and working within the Youth Criminal Justice System. I am passionate about student learning, and supporting each individual student to succeed in their academic and practical application of skills within both programs.
