Michelle Branigan is a seasoned human resources professional with over 15 years of experience in project management, human resources development, recruitment, and curriculum development and evaluation. Currently, she serves as the CEO of Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC), where she leads initiatives to address workforce challenges and promote diversity and inclusion within the electricity sector.

Michelle’s extensive background includes a Master’s degree in Training and Performance Management from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Her expertise and strategic vision have been instrumental in driving EHRC’s mission to build a highly skilled and sustainable workforce for the future.

Under her leadership, EHRC has launched numerous successful programs and partnerships, including the Empowering Futures Program, which provides funding for work-integrated learning placements, and the Leadership Accord on Gender Diversity, which promotes gender equality in the workplace. Michelle’s commitment to fostering talent and creating inclusive work environments has earned her recognition as a thought leader in the industry.
