Melanie Roy boasts an impressive career as an experienced professional with a strong focus on economic and commercial development in Atlantic Canada. Throughout her career, Melanie has demonstrated a commitment to advancing economic opportunities for individuals and communities. Her notable achievements include initiatives such as the Project Coordinator for the Economic Advancement of Women, where she worked to design strategies to enhance employability and entrepreneurship opportunities for Acadian women.
Her professional journey began as an Executive Assistant to the Regional Vice-President (Atlantic) at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). She later served as the Office Manager at UC Life Chiropractic Centre and the Account Manager/HR Manager at PC Helpline Computer Support Inc.
Melanie's diverse experience extends to the academic sector, having served as the CNFS Coordinator at Sainte-Anne University and the Liaison Agent for Western Canada.
