With over 12 years of experience in the sustainable energy and bridge sectors, Sabine Wilkie has established herself as a highly skilled structural engineer and adept project manager. Her expertise encompasses structural design, analysis, and construction management, fueled by a passion for sustainable energy solutions. Fluent in English, French, Spanish, and proficient in German, Sabine brings a diverse linguistic skill set to her work.
Currently leading a team of engineers at COWI, Sabine spearheads numerous sustainable energy and bridge projects. She is also instrumental in developing and implementing COWI's sustainability strategy. Prior to joining COWI, Sabine held engineering positions at SNC-Lavalin and TechnipFMC, where she designed and analyzed various structures, including buildings, bridges, and offshore platforms.
A registered professional engineer in Canada and the United States, Sabine is actively involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE). Additionally, she serves on the board of directors of the Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA), demonstrating her commitment to promoting sustainable energy initiatives.
