As a seasoned professional, Vijaya Ramnawaz is a highly skilled Project Lead and Bilingual Training Specialist at the Career Education Council. Her unwavering dedication to education and social justice is evident in her diverse work experiences and certifications. Starting as a Building Young Entrepreneurs Program Participant, Vijaya refined her entrepreneurial and innovative abilities.

In her current role at the Career Education Council, Vijaya brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. She provides leadership and specialized bilingual training, drawing from her passion for languages and communication. Vijaya's work as a Monitrice de Langue Française at Odyssee - Conseil des Ministres de l'Éducation showcases her talent in facilitating effective language instruction.

Inspired by her academic background in Sociology, Gender Studies, and Human Rights from St. Thomas University (CA), Vijaya brings a unique perspective to her work. Her active involvement in student organizations, particularly as the Vice-President of the St. Thomas University International Student Association, highlights her dedication to promoting inclusivity and diversity.

With a strong commitment to sustainable development and gender equality, Vijaya holds certifications from the UN Women Training Centre and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Additionally, she is certified in 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusion and Anti-bias Education in the Early Years, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, and Introduction to Gender-Based Analysis Plus.
