The 2022 Woman of Renewable Energy Award will be presented to the winner at the prestigious Electricity Transformation Canada Conference and Exhibition, taking place October 26-28, 2022, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) South Building, 222 Bremner Blvd, Toronto.
WHAT IS THE WOMAN OF RENEWABLE ENERGY AWARD?
The Woman of Renewable Energy Award is meant to acknowledge the efforts and achievements by women in renewable energy. How do you know if you or someone you know qualifies? From finance, to manufacturing, power management, to power storage and everything in-between, if you are helping Canada’s energy transition story and work in the renewable energy sector in Canada, we want to acknowledge you. We want to thank you for being a role model for other women both new and experienced, and share their experience through mentorship, volunteer work, and empowering other women.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Nominations of another individual may be submitted by an
Individual, Association, University or College, Professional Society, or other Organizations (including for and non-profits)
Self-Nominations may be submitted by an
Individual
WHAT ARE THE UNIQUE CRITERIA FOR THIS AWARD?
Applicant must be a woman working in the RENEWABLE ENERGY SECTOR in CANADA
More than 5 years of experience in the RENEWABLE ENERGY SECTOR
Consider the opening statement. How does the applicant stand out? What actions, technology, advocacy, triumphs, challenges have they overcome, supported, initiated, or achieved in the energy sector?
