Women in Electricity Award
The Women in Electricity Award is a collaborative initiative co‑presented by Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) and Electricity Canada. Together, these organizations recognize leaders who demonstrate exceptional commitment to advancing women within Canada’s electricity sector. The award highlights individuals or teams whose efforts have strengthened organizational structures, improved company processes, and created measurable outcomes that support more women entering, thriving, and leading in utilities across the country.
This collaboration reflects a shared vision: building a more inclusive, equitable, and future‑ready electricity workforce. Through this award, Electricity Canada and WiRE celebrate those who are driving meaningful change and setting new standards for gender equity in the sector.
