About Sabina Aliyeva, MEng
Sabina M. Aliyeva, born in Baku in 1990, established a strong foundation in her field through early academic achievements, including recognition in scientific conferences and mathematics competitions.
She holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, where her exceptional academic performance earned her scholarships and accolades. Complementing her formal education, Ms. Aliyeva actively engaged in extracurricular activities focused on debate and engineering and gained valuable practical experience through internships with SOCAR.
Ms. Aliyeva has cultivated a progressive career within SOCAR and its affiliated entities, undertaking increasingly responsible roles in electrical engineering across various sectors, including manufacturing, offshore operations, and downstream processing. Her commitment to professional development is evidenced by her participation in international seminars and her recent completion of a second Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from ADA University in collaboration with George Washington University. Her areas of expertise encompass SCADA systems, project management, and the implementation of renewable energy technologies.
