Job Title: Asia & MENA Newsletter Manager

Organization: Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE)

Location: Remote

WiRE is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Newsletter Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in renewable energy, women’s empowerment, and communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with WiRE’s stakeholders on a monthly basis, ensuring that all posts required to meet our deliverables to our stakeholders are included in the newsletter, and overseeing the overall quality control of the WiRE newsletter.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the production of WiRE’s monthly newsletter.

2. Engage with WiRE’s stakeholders on a monthly basis through the newsletter.

3. Ensure that all posts required to meet our deliverables to our stakeholders are included in the newsletter.

4. Oversee the overall quality control of the WiRE newsletter, ensuring it aligns with our brand and mission.

5. Collaborate with the WiRE Chapter Leaders to gather content for the newsletter.

6. Monitor analytics to understand reader engagement and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with MailChimp is a plus but not required.

2. Familiarity with Asia and MENA regions and its many diverse cultures and energy stories.

3. Proven experience in communications, marketing, or a similar role.

4. Excellent written communication skills.

5. Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to high quality work.

6. Good organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines.

7. A fervent interest in renewable energy and the empowerment of under represented groups.
