Join WiRE Italy Today!
Are you passionate about promoting gender equality and diversity in the energy sector? Do you want to make a difference in Italy’s energy transition and help address the challenges of climate change, energy security and affordability? If so, you might be interested in joining Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring recognition to women in the energy sector and support their professional development and leadership.
WiRE is looking for volunteers who can help us with various tasks, such as:
Organizing events, workshops and webinars on topics related to energy and gender
Creating and managing social media content and campaigns to raise awareness and visibility of WiRE and its activities
Developing and maintaining partnerships with other organizations, institutions and stakeholders in the energy sector
Conducting research and analysis on the status and trends of women in the energy sector in Italy and Europe
Providing mentoring and coaching to young women who aspire to pursue a career in the energy sector
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
Learn from experienced professionals and experts in the energy sector
Network with other like-minded individuals who share your passion and vision
Contribute to a meaningful cause that can have a positive impact on society and the environment
Enhance your skills and knowledge in the fields of energy and gender
Receive recognition and appreciation for your work and dedication

Have a strong interest in energy and gender issues
Have good communication and interpersonal skills
Be reliable, proactive and flexible
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Be fluent in English and Italian
