In LINES we aim to advance the global energy transition by empowering women in energy through interdisciplinary networking, advocacy and mentoring . LINES seeks to address the current gender imbalances in the energy sector and to promote gender-sensitive action around the energy transition in many parts of the world.

Our work focuses on:

  • Networking: facilitating connections among women working in the traditional and renewable energy sector but also in other supporting industries such as the built enviroment

  • Advocacy: generating and disseminating information on the role of women in the energy transition as well as organising conferences, seminars, and workshops which foster discussions and promote gendersensitive action around the energy transition.

  • Mentoring: leading the development of women mentoring programmes as well as the matchmaking of mentors and mentees within the energy sector.

  • Collaborations: We form partnerships with global DEI networks, NGOs, academia, regulators, and private corporations to advance our gender balance objectives.
