Georgina Foundation
Georgina Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Tanzania. The foundation was inspired by the dream of a young girl named Georgina, whose passion for reading and environmental stewardship led to the organization’s creation. The foundation’s mission is twofold: to promote literacy and to raise environmental awareness among Tanzanian children, particularly those from underprivileged communities.

WIMA stands for straight in Swahili. WIMA symbolises a straight forward life for women. WIMA represents women who stand tall, women who have earned their power and leadership status with no shortcuts. WIMA represents women with vision. We want to inspire and show the girl child to stand tall and work hard as there are no short cuts to achieving success.
