WISH

To begin tackling the gender equality gap in hydropower, the International Hydropower Association (IHA) and the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) have developed the Women in Sustainable Hydropower (WISH) network to bring together women from across the hydropower community to deliver the clean energy transition. As women represent only approximately 25% of the workforce, it is fundamental to promote, support and empower them in hydropower and encourage more women to join and stay in the industry. Using this space, we aim to foster a global network of women to connect and eventually share best practices.
