A Kenyan youth climate champion, Felicia holds a background in development studies and is pursuing her Master’s in Environmental Science. She actively bridges academic research and practical action to build long-term solutions for climate resilience, food security, and youth empowerment.
Beyond her academic work, Felicia operates a model farm that functions as a hands-on training and demonstration hub for women and young people in her community. By promoting climate-smart practices—such as organic farming, intercropping, soil and water conservation, and small-scale irrigation—she is transforming agriculture into a dignified, innovative, and profitable career path for the next generation.
Her advocacy extends to international climate platforms. Felicia was selected to present her research initiative, “Integration of AI on Early Warning Systems in East Africa,” at the AgriZone during COP30 in Belém, Brazil. Guided by principles of equity, resilience, and collaborative leadership, she remains dedicated to ensuring young people and women take center stage in shaping sustainable climate solutions.
