With a background in Energy Systems Engineering from Turkey, Gokce Comert has nearly four years of experience in the solar energy sector, specializing in R&D, manufacturing, and project development. She has gained hands-on expertise in solar panel production processes, including cell stringing, electrical interconnection, lamination, and quality control. Ms. Comert has also conducted research on off-grid systems, solar cell technologies, and energy efficiency.
In addition, she has worked as a procurement engineer in a transformer manufacturing company, managing supplier sourcing, pricing analysis, and purchasing operations. Although Gokce started a Master’s program in Renewable Energy Systems in Turkey, she relocated to Canada with her family before completing it.
Now based in Canada, she is passionate about advancing her career in the renewable energy sector and contributing to a more sustainable future.
