Owais is an 11-year-old student at H.G. Bernard Public School with a keen interest in science, technology, and the environment. He is especially passionate about clean and sustainable energy and envisions a future where communities around the world are powered by renewable sources that are safe, efficient, and accessible to all. Owais is deeply curious about how things work—from solar panels to electric vehicles—and enjoys learning how emerging technologies can reduce pollution, combat climate change, and help protect the planet for future generations.

His passion for clean energy isn’t just curiosity—it’s personal. As the son of a woman working in renewable energy, Owais has grown up appreciating the importance of diversity in the industry. He understands that meaningful progress comes from a mix of ideas, backgrounds, and perspectives. Inspired by his mom, he hopes to help build a future where more young people—including girls—see themselves as leaders in science and energy.

Outside the classroom, Owais is also passionate about sports. He plays with the Markham Soccer Club and thrives in the teamwork, discipline, and fun that sports bring into his life.

With big dreams, a love for learning, and a strong sense of responsibility, Owais is already thinking about how he can help build a better, cleaner world.
