Dr. Rahaf Ajaj, Delegate Head & WiRE UAE Chapter Leader
Dr. Rahaf Ajaj serves as the Head of Delegation for COP30 and is a distinguished Professor of Environmental and Public Health at Abu Dhabi University. With a background in environmental radioactivity and public health, she brings a deep understanding of the intersection between climate, health, and energy. Her role as a WiRE Chapter Leader demonstrates her commitment to empowering women in the field, making her an ideal choice to lead the delegation and champion a just and equitable transition.
Dr. Dolapo Salewa Oluteye, WiRE UK Chapter Co-Lead
Dr. Dolapo Salewa Oluteye is a Co-Lead of the WiRE UK Chapter. She is a Director at Veduxe LTD and Dobbs Services LTD with a background as a consultant and engineer. Her expertise in business and consulting, combined with her experience in the UK's renewable energy landscape, allows her to offer a pragmatic and strategic perspective on the financial and logistical aspects of climate action. Her ability to translate technical knowledge into actionable business strategies is a vital asset for the delegation.
Dr. Leticia Benso, WiRE Brazil Chapter Leader
Dr. Leticia Benso will be joining the delegation, bringing a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to sustainable development. Her specific professional background and her work in the renewable energy sector will be essential for the delegation's success at COP30. Her contributions will be key to helping WIRE's advocacy in Brazil.
