She volunteers as a freelance writer, STEM advocate and currently sits on the technology committee of the newly inaugurated STEM Innovation Academy Junior and Senior high schools in Calgary. Having moved to Canada 6 years ago from Nigeria, Lauretta has a love-hate relationship with the Canadian winter. She enjoys dancing, travelling to new places, and exploring her creativity.
