Morgane L. Besner is a lawyer in environmental and regulatory law at McCarthy Tétrault in Montréal. Since the beginning of her practice, she has been involved in the legal side of renewable energy projects, helping developers navigate the complex and evolving regulatory landscape in the sector. She is a strong believer in the importance of collaboration in all types of project development. Morgane has also been involved in a number of negotiations on behalf of Indigenous communities and has advised clients on the participation of Indigenous communities in energy and natural resource projects.
She is excited to join WiRE to connect with women active in the many spheres of the renewable energy sector and to create a space for meaningful collaboration.
