Monishola Aransiola is a Research Program Officer at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC).

With a background in  chemical and nuclear engineering and strong research  expertise on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) corrosion study , Monishola supports the safe development and deployment of nuclear technologies in Canada, contributing to the country’s clean energy future.

She holds a Master of Science  and bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering and is pursuing an MBA to enhance her leadership and strategic management skills. Additionally, Monishola is working towards her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification to further her project leadership abilities.

Monishola is actively involved in the North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN), where she contributes to initiatives that promote nuclear science and technology. As an advocate for diversity in STEM, Monishola mentors young women and promotes gender equality in the nuclear and energy sectors. She serves as Program Manager and board of director  for the Women in Nuclear (WiN) Global Young Generation, organizing events to empower the next generation of women in nuclear energy. Monishola also leads the Clean Energy Bridge Network, which connects research, policy, and clean energy innovation to address the global need for sustainable energy solutions.

Her long-term goal is to become a clean energy entrepreneur, driving innovation in the energy sector. Monishola’s passion for clean energy, combined with her leadership in WiN and NAYGN, makes her a dedicated advocate for women in energy and a committed leader in the transition to a sustainable, clean energy future.
