The Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) club had an incredible time at the FrostWeek Club Fair, where we welcomed students eager to learn more about sustainable energy and get involved in our community. Our booth stood out with an engaging origami pinwheel station, a creative and interactive way to spark conversations about renewable energy while allowing students to have fun and express their creativity.
Beyond the activity, we had meaningful conversations about WiRE’s mission, upcoming events, and ways students can get involved. Many attendees were interested in learning more about the renewable energy industry, networking opportunities, and career pathways in sustainability.
