Position: Operations Manager
Hours: Full-time/Flexible

BayWa r.e. Solar Systems Inc. is a leading solar distributor with years of extensive experience. Market-specific knowledge, a strong global presence, and our focus on creating meaningful, long-lasting partnerships enable us to support our growing network of local installers. We carry a wide range of high-quality products and have global agreements with most leading brands. Internationally, BayWa r.e.’s photovoltaic distributor business operates in Europe, North and Central America and the APAC region.
BayWa r.e. is looking for a positive, responsible, detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Operations Manager. It is the perfect foot in the door for your new career in the growing solar industry. The Operations Manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization.
The specific duties include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.
Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable during the course of our business transactions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
• Help improve the organization’s processes
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability
• Aid in budget and forecast preparation
• Perform quality controls and monitor KPIs
• Mentor staff
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service
REQUIRMENTS AND SKILLS:
• Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
Some domestic and international travel required. The position is full-time, and we are open Monday-Friday.
